MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.- The Iowa State tennis team continues its fall slate this weekend as it heads to Minneapolis to compete in the Gopher Invitational. The Cyclones will see action from 10 other schools this weekend including Minnesota, South Dakota, UNI, Drake, Eastern Michigan, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota State, Gonzaga and Iowa.

COLUMBIA, Mo.—The Iowa State men's golf team fired a final-round-low 280 this afternoon to finish second at the Columbia Regional Preview. The Cyclones were 8-under as a team today thanks to a 66 from freshman Ruben Sondjaja and a 68 by junior All-American Scott Fernandez. The Cyclones carded a three-round 857 total, five shots behind team champion Missouri. Austin Peay placed third, 13 shots behind ISU at 870.
